COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

Your child's safety is our top priority.

How do We Keep Your Child Safe?

We follow the CDC (Center for Disease Control) recommendations for maintaining a clean, disinfected, and sanitized CoLearning environment. Daily cleanings of all areas and surfaces with biodegradable solutions to remove dust, dirt, and grime. We use an electrostatic fogger system with EPA approved disinfectants to disinfect and sanitize any potential contamination. Students, parents, and staff follow a series of rules and procedures during arrival, dismissal, and class time.

Daily Cleaning

We follow the CDC (Center for Disease Control) recommendations to create a clean and safe learning environment for our students, staff, and families. A professional cleaning service cleans the following areas and surfaces daily.

  • High traffic areas - learning pods, business office, lobby, hallways, restrooms, break room

  • High touched areas - doors, door handles, light switches, walls, counters, glass

  • Furniture - desks, chairs, tables, trashcans, sneeze guards

Daily Disinfection

Electrostatic disinfection is an efficient and safer alternative to traditional disinfecting methods. Below are some of the benefits of using an electrostatic disinfection system.

  • Electrostatic foggers apply chemicals in a more efficient, controlled, and uniform manner, removing the dangers of overuse and decreasing the amounts of chemicals used

  • Avoids cross contamination and the movement of bacteria from one surface to another

  • Increases infection control and helps stop the spread of viruses such as influenza, MRSA, HIV, and many more

Daily Prevention

Prevention begins with having the appropriate supplies, equipment, and protective gear.

  • Supplies - disinfectants, disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, hand soap, facial tissue, paper towels

  • Equipment - shoe sanitation station, shoe cover dispenser, hand sanitizer stations, electrostatic fogger system, sneeze guards

  • Gear - gloves, face masks, goggles, face shields, shoe covers

Daily Procedures

We have developed a series of rules and procedures to optimize the health and safety of our students, staff, and families.

  • Rules - students, staff, and family members must follow all safety rules and procedures at all times

  • Wayfinding - color coded areas by activity, landmarks to provide orientation cues, and well structured pathways

  • Arrival - ID check, mask/shield check, temperature check, shoe sanitation, shoe cover placement, hand sanitation,  receive disposable supplies

  • Class time -

  • Dismissal -
